Got a build-my-own burger on brioche with bacon, sautéed onions and sliced jalapeños as my toppings and house-made BBQ sauce and whole grain mustard as my condiments (which apparently come on the side), and a side house salad with Greek dressing. The salad came out quickly so I could start eating, and the burger after not too much longer. I found the salad fresh and generously portioned for a side salad, and the dressing hit the spot. The burger I ordered medium-rare came out more like medium to medium-well, but it was still delicious and very satisfying—if messy. I was surprised that the bacon not only carries no up-charge, but is thick-sliced and plentiful. The full containers of mustard and BBQ sauce were overkill for a burger, but would have been nice had I gotten a dippable side.
I've been coming to Town Hall Burger and Beer since October of 2022, and every time my experience is consistent. I've lived in NYC and I know that place isn't known for its burgers but I've paid a heavy bill for a burger that doesn't come close to what I get here. I get the perfect burger with sweet potato fries and it never disappoints me. Add some guacamole to your burger and it's a great experience. The staff here nice and professional. I love coming here for lunch when I can. Nick the manager is a cool guy and he cares about your experience. Mine has always consistently been good. Update: came here Sunday. Learned that management changed and so did some of the cooks. But guess what, I still got the same order and it tasted no different than the last time I got it December of last year. That is a testament to the quality of training of the staff.
Perfect Burger (5.3 oz) was made to my specific instructions and tasted great. Juicy and still warm on delivery! Tater Tots were good but a bit salty. Loved the 25% off certain items which convinced me to order!!!
Fun little burger place! Burgers were delicious, and the truffle fries were just right..not overpowering. JD at the bar was helpful and personable! Heading back again for sure.
Amazingly fresh good AND the portions are very large. I had the burger with fresh veggies for on a brioche bun. I'm told that most items are made fresh daily. I also got a bite of my husband's order of blackened salmon tacos. They were delicious and served with a side of vinegar based coleslaw made fresh and sweet. HUGE selection of micro-brews. We will be back!!!!
Ordered a Build Your Own Burger with over easy egg, sautéed mushrooms, sautéed onions and rye with garlic mayo. The BEST we have ever had! Staff was super pleasant and accommodating! Good beer selection. Will be back when visiting area again!
We went on a Saturday for lunch and really enjoyed our first visit. The Mondo burger was huge and definitely tasty but with bacon, Gouda and onion straws that’s no surprise. The fish sandwich was also fresh and good. Our service sitting at the bar was really good and fast. Warning sides are an upcharge but you do get a large portion for sharing for $5.
We enjoy THBB!! Don't get there often enough but love it when we go. The lunch special BLT salad with blueberry vinaigrette was amazing! Hope they keep that salad in rotation. Thanks Town Hall for another great meal and dining experience.
I just want to say that I love town hall burgers. I did have a small issue but the owner made sure to correct it and really listened to me to make sure I was happy and gave me a gift card to order another burger in the future. I can tell the Owner is very empathetic and loves his customers and will do what he can for them if there is a problem. I go to Townhall Burgers whenever I want a "real burger" and the fries are fresh and their BBQ sauce is really good too. Overall, there was a small issue but the owner really goes above and beyond for their customers. :) And that is a place I will frequently visit bc I know it is ran but good people and they make the best Hamburgers ever.
This place has bounced back and it’s excellent! I avoided this place because it had gone downhill but I decided to check it out again and I am happy to say I am so glad I did! The burger was cooked properly and the fries did not taste processed like most restaurants. They were fresh! The service was cheerful yet professional. It’s great to have a really good restaurant nearby in the neighborhood.
